1. Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme
This program aims at providing specialized training to talented children in various cultural fields, especially those rare arts which are on the verge of extinction.
Eligibility:
- Applicants should be aged between 10 and 14
- They should be studying in a recognized school or belong to families who practice traditionally performing arts
Benefits:
- INR 3,600 per year would be provided to the selected candidates
- Reimbursement of up to INR 9,000 would be provided to facilitate the payment of fees for specialized training from the Guru
Selection Criteria:
- An interview/ test will be conducted for shortlisting
- A central selection committee will be constituted whose decision will be final
- Only the shortlisted candidates will be informed about the dates of the interview/test via post

2. Saryu Doshi Graduate Fellowships in Liberal Arts & Sciences
This program embodies the lifelong passion and values of Vinod and Saryu Doshi, who believed that one’s mind is enriched through education and spirit through art and culture. It aims to support financially challenged Indian nationals who have been accepted at a University abroad for pursuing Post-graduation (Masters, PG diploma/certificate or Doctorate) in Liberal Arts.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must have a first-class degree or equivalent from a recognized Indian university
- They should have secured admission in a foreign university of repute on their merit and the course should be commencing anywhere between August-October in the next academic year
- Candidates in their final year of degree can apply too, provided they can submit their final year certificates before the May of their year of joining
Benefits:
- A scholarship amount of up to INR 3,00,000 will be provided to cover the tuition fee only

- An interview would be conducted for shortlisting the candidates

3. Inlaks Shivdasani Scholarship
This program is intended to help young artists in their formative years to broaden their vision abroad.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a first-class degree certificate or equivalent from a recognized Indian university/institute
- They will be judged primarily on their portfolio
- Candidates having postgraduate qualification from abroad are not eligible
- Candidates who have already begun their postgraduate education abroad are also not eligible
- It is essential to get admission to the university abroad before applying for this scholarship
- Candidates can be 30 years of age at maximum
- Applicants must be academically and otherwise high achievers and the Foundation will require proof for this
Benefits:
- The tuition fees, adequate living expenses, one-way travel allowance, and health allowance are all covered
- The maximum amount provided would be USD 100,000. If your total funding required exceeds this amount, you need to show proof that you can cover these expenses
Selection Criteria:
- The selection is carried out by an independent Inlaks Selection Committee
- All applicants must be available for interviews in India
- Selection is in two processes: a preliminary interview stage and if selected, a final interview stage
- Shortlisted candidates must arrange for their own travel and accommodation
Application:
- Applications should be submitted online(available on their website) and no physical applications will be accepted
- Candidates must upload their portfolio as a pdf or share a website/ online portfolio link
- If you have applied for, or have been accepted for grants from some other organization(s), you must declare it in the application; even if you don’t plan on accepting them
- Two letters of reference are mandatory. It can be either uploaded with your application or mailed to them

4. Sanskriti – Kalakriti Fellowship
This program is to support those young performing artists who wish to contribute towards enriching their respective art forms. It aims to encourage them to develop their potential and enhance their skills through intensive practice and by incorporating different facets into their art.
Eligibility:
- Applicant should have at least 10 years of training in Indian classical dance
- They should also have given at least 2 to 3 solo performances to their credit in recognized forums
- This fellowship especially encourages women applicants but all applications that fulfill the required objectives are welcome
Benefits:
- A total fellowship of INR 50,000 would be provided in two installments
- The first installment of INR 25,000 will be given at the time of commencement of the fellowship
- The second installment of INR 25,000 will be given at the time of submission of the completed project report of the candidate when they are asked to perform a dance recital
Application:
- An updated CV/ resume which is no longer than 2 pages is required
- A write up of not more than 500 words, explaining their project is required
- Few samples of previous works, a project of performances, and names and contacts of two referees are also required
- Attach all these documents to a mail with your full postal and contact details along with your mail id, keeping the subject of the mail as “Sanskriti – Kalakriti Fellowship” and mail it to fellowships@sanskritifoundation.org

5. Scheme for Scholarships to Young Artistes in Different Cultural Fields
This is financial assistance to young artists of outstanding promise for advanced training within India in different fields like Mime, Theatre, Visual Art, Indian classical dance and music, Folk, Traditional and Indigenous arts and light classical music.
Eligibility:
- Candidates must have adequate general education
- They should also provide proof for their desire to make the pursuit of their training effectively
- Candidates must have a degree of proficiency in the chosen field
- They must have undergone a training of at least 5 years with their Guru/institute
- They should have adequate knowledge in the connected arts/ discipline
- Their age should be between 18 and 25 as of April 1st of the year in which the application is made
Benefits:
- The scholar will be paid INR 5,000 per month for two years to cover their living expenses if any
Selection Criteria:
- The candidate will be asked to appear for an interview/performance before an expert committee, the date, time, and venue of which will be intimated to the candidate

- Attested certificates of educational qualifications, passport size recent photograph, and a certificate to prove prior training with a Guru/institute is required
- For painting, sculpture, and other applied arts, self-attested photographs of their original work is also required
