1. Microsoft Engage Mentorship Program 

It is an internship program for university students of any branch to build a product for the challenge under the guidance of a mentor.

2. Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors

The Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors program is a global group of on-campus ambassadors who are eager to help students and their communities, lead in their local tech circles, and develop technical and career skills for the future. As a Student Ambassador, you might find yourself organizing a campus or community hackathon, mentoring other students, or volunteering with an elementary school STEM class.

Must have at least 1 year of experience in research related to machine learning or closely related topics and physics.” 

Must currently be a Ph.D. candidate in math, physics, computer science, or closely related fields

Explore Microsoft is a 12-week summer internship program specifically designed for first and second-year college students. 

The program is rotational and allows you to gain experience in our different software engineering roles. It’s also designed to give you hands-on experience with various tools and programming languages in the field of software development, and encourage you to pursue degrees in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical disciplines. Your on-the-job learning will be augmented with mentoring, community building, and networking opportunities.

Duration: 12 weeks

Eligibility:

Candidates must be in their first or second year of college and enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in the United States, Canada, or Mexico with a demonstrated interest in majoring in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related technical major. This apprenticeship is for those who have a base foundation of technical training. This apprenticeship program combines in-classroom learning with hands-on engineering projects, working on real teams and real products within our organization such as Azure, Xbox, Bing, and Office365.

Duration: 16-week immersive program.

Eligibility:
Microsoft Leap Apprenticeship Program is a full-time commitment. Applicants who are currently enrolled in school will not be accepted. Applicants must be free of educational commitments for the duration of the apprenticeship.

Applicants for the Microsoft Leap Apprenticeship Program must be currently authorized to work in the United States or cohort of residence for the entire duration of their apprenticeship. Immigration sponsorship will not be provided by the Employer nor Microsoft.
