“Be kind to yourself.
Let the bad days go;
Focus on the good ones ahead.
Life is never perfect, and never will be.
It’s about balance, taking the good and the bad.
Doing your best is all you can do.
Doing your best is more than enough.”

These words are taken from Vinay Sutaria, the founder of “The Keshav Way”. The Keshav Way is an intuitive approach to transform your life. In the 21st century, happiness has become scarce – we think happiness is when the person we admire reciprocates the same romantic feelings, or when we are gifted the PS5, the latest Gucci bag, or when we receive that prestigious scholarship opportunity or secure that dream job. However, all of this constitutes short-term happiness. It will always come to an end. We fail to understand that long-term happiness comes from within us – we cannot rely on a luxury gift, an opportunity, or even someone else for that happiness. That happiness starts with us. That is what The Keshav Way aims to accomplish.

The Keshav Way was, according to Vinay, inspired by witnessing the life of his gurus: HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj (1921-2016) and HH Mahant Swami Maharaj (b. 1933). Vinay had the chance to know both of them personally and witness them live a life filled with joy, peace, and purpose regardless of the ups-and-downs they faced. These gurus live in a state of equilibrium. Now, when someone lives life as such for 95 years or 87 years, surely it cannot be a facade! This got Vinay thinking and exploring their lives further. He came to realize that it was more than just an observation – these gurus were living their lives passively! He wondered how and that is where the idea for The Keshav Way stemmed from.

This is the first step of the entrepreneurial process: coming up with the idea. It is relatively easy, however, a common challenge that many young entrepreneurs face, including Vinay. Once he took that first step, everything became a walk in the park. The key ingredient to taking the first step is simply having a calm and composed mind.

Apart from having a calm and composed mind, support is just as essential – having cheerleaders along your entrepreneurial journey motivates you to keep on going and never give up. Vinay was greatly inspired and motivated by his Guru, who consistently guides him from 8000 miles away, both directly and indirectly. He is also thankful to the Swamis of BAPS Neasden Temple (London UK) for their continuous guidance and support in his project and has great gratitude for his friends and supporters on The Keshav Way’s Instagram page – which is growing day by day (currently sitting at 12K followers!).

To have such a massive Instagram base (the recognition of your business) is indeed a goal for one entrepreneur to achieve. How The Keshav Way managed to be in the position it is in today – with growing global recognition, is word of mouth. 64% of marketing executives believe word of mouth is the most effective marketing tool – this was Vinay’s personal project and he is grateful and overjoyed with the support he has received.

Apart from gaining global recognition, another element Vinay enjoys about being an entrepreneur is the freedom it provides which in turn gives him a greater sense of responsibility. Sometimes, in our entrepreneurial journey, we stumble when challenges come our way. Being a student entrepreneur, one of the greatest challenges is finding a balance. Vinay is a computer science student and built his business around tech, offering his services as a consultant and contractor to large companies. Vinay believes work pressure and time is a myth – if you want to do something, if you are passionate about it, and have the intention you will definitely find the time and space to do the project.

SO…..WHAT’S NEXT FOR THE KESHAV WAY???

“The message about true happiness, peace, and purpose needs to be shared. I have also begun brainstorming on the next project after the book release. Hold tight for this!”

TIPS FOR WANNABE STUDENT ENTREPRENEURS

“I’d say do your research first. We all often come up with these amazing ideas, but we don’t want to fly straight to the moon. Take your time to train yourself first. Familiarise yourself with the project… look at what you will be getting into… financially too. A lot of entrepreneurial ventures require capital and investment – just like The Keshav Way did. Research is key! Then press the pedal and drive.”
