Elon Musk was thrown down a set of stairs by a bunch of school bullies, beaten until he blacked out, and was hospitalized as a result. When such situations come upon us, no matter if it is physical pain or verbal pain, we revert to wear a mask. A physical mask is detrimental to wear during COVID times, however, if you use an emotional mask to falsify who you are to try and fit in with the norm – you are causing yourself more pain than what they have caused you. Elon Musk did not respond to the bully’s actions by wearing this mask, he responded by standing up to them, by accepting his uniqueness, and making his reflection of who he sees in the mirror visible to the world. He did this through the creation of Tesla – an electric car and clean energy company; and through SpaceX – a space technology company.
Is it a crazy idea to colonize Mars?
Many people would laugh at this thought and say “keep dreaming!”
However, dreams can come true. You just need to take action. This indeed came true through Musk’s creation of SpaceX.
Your dreams can also come true if you face the issues thrown at you by accepting the hurt & rejection, taking off the mask (no, not your real one – COVID is still out there!), and not hiding who you are. Be proud of who you are – whether you are an international student with a different accent or the class nerd – and show the world your true self.
If you are someone who dreams to intern at one of Fortune’s 500 Top Companies, follow the footsteps of a self-believer like Musk, create an impact in the world by responding to climate change and challenge the naysayers, then an internship at Tesla and SpaceX is for you!
Below we have listed the following internships available at Tesla and SpaceX
TESLA
“Tesla’s mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.”
https://www.tesla.com/about
A few of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals that are hoped to achieve by 2030 are dedicated to climate change such as goal number 12: responsible consumption and production and 13: climate action. These are hoped to be achieved by 2030, which is 10 years down the line! Tesla is on the road to achieving this – via the distribution of electric cars.
Electric cars aim to be a “healthier” option for the environment, as opposed to a normal vehicle – now you can drive guilt-free! It has been reported that in the EU, electric cars emit 80% less CO2 than diesel and 81% less than petrol. Excess CO2 (carbon dioxide) emission is the major contributor to global warming. Be part of this change in creating a healthier, sustainable green environment for our future generation by making the most out of these Tesla internships that Scholarship Track presents to you.
The various internships available at Tesla are:
- Design
- Engineering & Information Technology
- Facilities
- Finance
- HR
- Legal & Government affairs
- Manufacturing
- Operations & Business support
- Sales & customer support
